Important Information Affecting Electronic Claims

Due to the Emergis and National Data Corporation (NDC) consolidation, the transmission of claims to NDC will be changing.

These changes are imposed by Emergis, the new owner of NDC, and will affect all dental offices sending claims via CDAnet. As of Feb 24, 2006, all dental offices that have not updated their software program will no longer be able to transmit claims to the insurers that were formerly under the NDC umbrella.

You should have already received a letter from Emergis notifying you of this change.

All Maxident offices that are on a support and maintenance contract have already received an update to enable them to continue submitting electronically.
