Inside Sales Representative

Maxim Software Systems develops and sells Maxident dental management software to Dentists. Satisfied and loyal users across Canada use our software to automate their front office and clinical functions.

All sales are made from our office in Winnipeg. The sales process begins when we receive calls from dentists in response to our marketing. We make follow-up calls thereafter, and move the sales to a close.

Additionally, we attend dental trade shows to meet new customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers.

Dentists initiate the contact because of our advertising or colleague referrals, and we build a long-term personal relationship with them. To be successful, you need:

* The ability to sell to professionals,
* An acquired knowledge of the dental profession,

Since we sell over the telephone, good interpersonal and communication skills are exceptionally important. Do not confuse this with a telemarketing position, although a telemarketing background can be very helpful.

Job training will be provided, however, knowledge of dental industry and sales skills is critical. Preference will be given to a candidate who possesses both, but if you are strong in only one, we will train you in the other.
